Dr. Uprety has above 25 years in healthcare as an Orthopedic & Trauma Surgeon, Clinical Informatics. He has established Orthopedic & Traumatology department at Kathmandu University. He worked at advanced US hospitals (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, CMC), remote US hospitals (Niobrara Community Hospital), CMIO/Ortho Surgeon at Children’s Orthopedic Hospital & quaternary care hospital (Mediciti). He has also worked as a consultant to World Health Organization. He believes in providing patient-centric healthcare transformation through strategic vision & technical expertise in Healthcare IT & Clinical Informatics. He is also Leading National Spine Trauma Registry Project for Nepal. Likewise, he is also a Founder Chairman of Clinicomatics Digital & CIO/Medical Expert for WiseYak (Al startup). He has extensive experience in clinical practice, academia, and healthcare IT leadership, both in Nepal and the USA. His philanthropic dedication further strengthens his impressive profile.
